From a serie of original, richly abstract yet sensual abstract feminine portraits, "Steady Faith" shows a beautiful young stylized head with her long brown hair loosely tucked away.
This original surrealist pop art stylized portrait is build up from many layers of different materials.
(ink, acrylic paint, lightfast markers, watercolor spray, pencils etc etc)
I usually paint my colorful female figures and portraits in flat color planes with bold outlines,
yet in this series, I wanted to celebrate the female universe in all it's diverseness using tumultuous expressive strokes and rich textures to make the face arise from there.
This artwork is framed in a black box frame that allows the flanks of the painting to still be seen whilst the frame makes sure that the painting pops off the wall in a very distinct manner.
It's signed with a monogram on the front,
on the back you will find the full signature, the year of making and the title.
You will also receive a certificate of authenticity with this painting.
